cold day good ride!

damn it was cold today! snow showers on and off, but it made for a great day out at Waverly Hills! Rode for about 2 hours today and towards the end of the ride, the dirt began to thaw and it got nasty quick! All-in-all, it was a productive ride and nobody got throttled to bad. I had a few wash-outs, but it's all good!

i rode with some good guys today and it was super fun. nothing like escaping the worlds day-to-day bs, by getting on your bike and pedalling!

it's a new week! hope your's is good!

The BMXer goes MTBing!!!

Good morning. Well, the dreaded snowstorming once again, never showed and I'm sure the ground is nice and frozen, so I'm sitting here, drinking my second cup of java, working up the balls to dawn the gear and go mountainbiking over at Waverly or Cherokee...

This is my first post, so I guess I should introduce myself. I'm a newly turned 35 year old, residing in wonderful New Albany, Indiana. I'm a full-time studend at the University of Louisville, but will be transferring to Bellarmine next fall. I have 2 awesome daughters and a wonderful wife. I've been racing BMX for nearly 22 years now and have enjoyed some success racing over that time. I was in the U.S. Navy for 8 years and was Honorably discharge back in 2001. Most of my time is devoted to my family, school and when I have a chance, bikes. I'm a pretty simply person and live by the "golden rule."

Well, I guess I need to start working up getting ready...yippie...
